Compass Charter Schools is seeking Los Angeles-area leaders to serve as volunteer Board Members. This is an opportunity to support a tuition-free public charter school system dedicated to personalized learning, scholar success, and strong family partnerships.

Board Members provide governance, oversight, and strategic guidance in support of Compass Charter Schools’ mission. Ideal candidates may bring experience in education, nonprofit leadership, finance, law, business, marketing, community engagement, governance, or related fields.

This volunteer role is a meaningful opportunity for mission-driven leaders who want to help shape the future of public charter education and support scholars and families across California, including those served by the Los Angeles charter. Board Members are expected to attend meetings, review materials, support accountability and fiscal oversight, and serve as community ambassadors for Compass Charter Schools. A stipend is available.
